Hey! I'm Raquel, content manager at TourScanner. My degree in Marketing and Master's in Multimedia, coupled with my love for photography, steered me to Content Marketing. Born in Portugal, my heart belongs to the world. I started traveling with my parents at a young age and have never stopped. I have visited more than 20 countries, and my top 5 includes: Albania, Mexico, Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Austria, with an honorable mention to one of my favorite cities in the world: Paris.
Best travel experiences
Fascinated by destinations off the beaten path, my favorite travel experience, so far, was a road trip through Albania. A true hidden gem in Europe, Albania was a bright surprise, strikingly contrasting its turbulent past. With lively cities, welcoming locals, breathtaking landscapes ranging from rugged mountains to heavenly beaches, and the most delicious food I've ever tasted abroad, my trip to Albania is one I'll never forget.
