You need to arrive at the venue half an hour before your allocated start time. Then wriggle into your specialist flight suit, and pull on your helmet and goggles in readiness for what lies ahead.

After a safety orientation and training from your expert instructor, it is time to take on the vertical wind tunnel! Embrace the powerful airflow as the propeller is ramped up, lifting you off your feet for a simulated skydive experience.

You will spend two minutes suspended in the tunnel, flying in wind speeds of up to 120 miles per hour. Relish the sense of weightlessness before gliding gently back down to earth.

No prior experience is needed for indoor skydiving in Las Vegas, and there will usually be a maximum of five participants in your group.

The most affordable indoor skydiving session costs US$90 to US$100 per person. The price includes 2 minutes of flying time in the wind tunnel, plus instruction and specialist gear.

You can also opt for longer, 3-minute indoor skydiving experience, the cost increases to US$150 per person. These packages may also be taylored for small groups.

The indoor skydiving venue is situated at 200 Convention Center Drive, just half a block from The Strip. You will find it between the Encore and Riviera hotels. There is free parking on site if you have a car.
