Here's all you need to know about Disneyland tickets, one of the most exciting theme parks in Los Angeles.

How much do Disneyland tickets cost?

The Disneyland Resort features two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You can choose to buy an admission ticket for a single day, or you can opt for a multi-day admission.

There is also the great option of paying a surcharge to allow you to access both theme parks within the Disneyland Resort.

Standard Theme Park Ticket

This type of ticket allows access to one (1) theme park per day. You can purchase a ticket that is valid from 1 to 5 days. The longer the ticket is valid, the less the per day cost works out to be.

  • Standard ticket for age 10 years and older:

1 day: from US$104 per person

2 days: US$310 per person

3 days: US$390 per person

4 days: US$445 per person

5 days: US$480 per person

  • Standard ticket for children age 3 to 9 years:

1 day: from US$98 per child

2 days: US$290 per child

3 days: US$365 per child)

4 days: US$420 per child

5 days: US$450 per child

  • Park Hopper surcharge

To move between Disneyland Resort theme parks on the same day(s), the following additional cost applies:

1 day: $65 per ticket

2 days: $65 per ticket

3 days: $70 per ticket

4 days: $70 per ticket

5 days: $75 per ticket

  • Theme Park Parking

Standard parking (One-day voucher): $35 each

  • Multi-Day Ticket Expiration

Tickets expire 13 days after first use or on the date specified on the official website (whichever occurs first).

Tickets are non-refundable but the purchase price of a wholly unused, expired ticket can be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the price of tickets on the new date of purchase as long as the new ticket costs the same or more than the original ticket.

Who is eligible for discounts?

Disneyland does occasionally offer special discounts for limited periods. An example is a Kid’s Special Offer ticket, which charges a discounted rate for children aged 3 to 9 years when visiting  one park on a 1-day ticket with full paying adults.

Children aged 2 years and younger do not require an admission ticket for Walt Disney Theme Parks.

Should you book in advance?

To enter Disneyland, you require a valid entrance ticket and a park reservation for the specific park on the same date. If you do not have both an admission ticket and a park reservation, you will not be able to enter Disneyland.

Tickets can be purchased at the main entrance of the Disneyland Resort as long as there are Disney Park Pass reservations available. If both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are booked, same-day tickets will not be available.

You will therefore need to make sure you plan carefully, and coordinate your visit and hotel arrangements, even if you are staying at one of the resort hotels.

To avoid disappointment, it is definitely advisable to book your admission tickets and reserve your entrance day(s) in advance on the Disneyland website or app.
